Students have the opportunity to start band in 5th grade at Manchester and continue through high school.

MIS Band students have band class twice a week and perform 2-3 concerts yearly. Select Sixth Grade Band members may participate in ISSMA Solo and Ensemble.

Junior High Band students in grades 7 and 8 perform 4 concerts a year, participate in ISSMA Concert Organizational Festival, and have the opportunity to participate in ISSMA Solo and Ensemble Festival. The Junior High Band goes on a trip every other year.

High School Band students may take band as their Graduation Pathway. The High School Band performs 4 concerts yearly in addition to marching and pep band at football and basketball games. Students participate in ISSMA Concert Organizational Festival and have the opportunity to participate in Solo and Ensemble Festival.

The Squire Band is the six time ISSMA Scholastic Class B Finalist marching band. It is made up of high school band students and color guard members.

Winter Guard is an extra-curricular team that practices November-March while competing around the state in January-March. The Guard is a member of the IHSCGA and performs in Festival Class or Regional A Class.
